The Smiths
Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne · Kitchen Extension · Completed June 2021
Project overview
A light-filled rear kitchen extension to a period brick home in Jesmond. Full-width glazing and a run of roof lanterns flood the new open-plan kitchen and dining space with natural light, while the exposed brick feature wall retains the character of the original house. Large format doors open the room completely onto the garden, creating a seamless connection between inside and out.
“Alpine transformed the back of our house into the space we always dreamed of. The design, the craftsmanship and the way the whole project was managed were first class from start to finish. We couldn't recommend them highly enough.”
